5.8 Summary

After finish studying this chapter, I believe that everyone has a new understanding of the SOC design process, and gradually established the basic concept from IP to SOC, and realized the significance of the perfect combination of software and hardware; and inspired everyone to engage in chip design / FPGA related Industry interest; thus achieving the clear experimental purpose of the first chapter of our manual:

  • Master the basic requirements and design methods of integrated circuit IP core design.

  • Understand the integrated circuit SOC chip design system system.

  • Master VerilogHDL hardware programming and application.

  • Master Xilinx Vivado FPGA development process.

  • Familiar with the industry's mainstream AMBA bus system.

  • Proficient in C language programming and debugging skills.

  • Familiar with computer architecture and microcomputer principles.

  • Realize the combination of school theoretical knowledge and practical application through experimental courses
